Allen is back baby!
Allen dominated Duncanville 26-7 behind sophomore quarterback Ty Sneel (15 of 23 passing, 160 yards, 2 TDs, 62 yards rushing) and Lydon Spriggs (73 yard rushing, 2 TDs).

DeSoto Stumbles
The Eagles traveled to Florida and lost to national powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas 38-14. But don’t over react just yet. The Eagles have plenty of time to fix their issues and be ready for yet another deep playoff run.

Randle’s Revenge
The teams that have played for the last two 5AD2 state titles are now in different divisions and decided to keep the rivalry going by playing a non-district game. Randle beat South Oak Cliff 20-14. Landen Williams rushed for 227 yards on 32 carries with 2 TDs.

Welcome to 6A Bearcats
The Aledo Bearcats moved up to 6A for this alignment and immediately got a rude awakening with a 26-0 loss to North Crowley.

Houston Area Rankings Wrecked

Number 22 Shadow Creek beat Number 5 Summer Creek, 24-14.
Number 15 Ridge Point beat Number 10 Dickinson, 29-26.
Number 14 Katy beat Number 11 Atascocita, 28-17.
Unranked Fort Bend Crawford beat Number 8 La Porte, 51-24.

Carthage Rolls
The Bulldogs rolled past Henderson, 49-10.

La Vega Punishes Franklin Turnovers
La Vega forced five Franklin fumbles en route to a 42-16 win.

West Orange-Stark Tops Newton
The Mustangs bested Newton 44-28 behind Khelvy Jefferson’s 174 yard rushing and five TDs.

PSJA North Runs Up Running Yards
PSJA North rushed for 425 yards against Laredo United. The Raiders had three 100 yard rushers (Antwon Estrada 167 yards, Mark Quintanilla 113 yards, Drayden Espinoza 103 yards).
