Paetow scored four first-half touchdowns and held Seven Lakes to 166 total yards in a 41–10 District 22-6A victory Friday night. Tyler Washington caught three touchdown passes, while Ameir Rutherford threw for three scores and ran for another.

Rutherford opened the scoring with a 24-yard pass to Leron Henry midway through the first quarter. Later in the period, Seven Lakes lost a fumble, and Paetow struck on its next play: Anthoni Terrell connected with Washington for a 42-yard touchdown and a 14–0 lead. The possession covered 47 yards after a five-yard defensive penalty.

Vlad Stan put Seven Lakes on the board with a 19-yard field goal early in the second quarter. Rutherford answered with touchdown passes of 30 and 24 yards to Washington, sending Paetow into halftime ahead 27–3.

After a scoreless start to the third quarter, Rutherford broke loose for a 15-yard touchdown run. Jace Janda scored on a two-yard run for Seven Lakes, but Key’tavien Williams responded with a 24-yard rushing touchdown to make it 41–10. Neither team scored in the fourth.

Paetow finished with 376 yards, including 184 rushing and 192 passing. Rutherford completed 7 of 18 passes for 150 yards and added 62 yards on 11 carries. Washington’s three catches went for 96 yards, all on touchdowns, and Terrell added four receptions for 72 yards to his touchdown pass. Louis Ennis rushed nine times for 50 yards.

Seven Lakes gained 113 yards on the ground and 53 through the air. Kirk Washington led the Spartans with 50 yards on eight carries. Tyson Fifer completed 9 of 20 passes for 53 yards, with Joshua Tekwe catching four passes for 48 yards.
