Katy Jordan 45, Katy Taylor 6
I was at this game. you can see pictures here:
Jordan was clearly the better team in this one, rebounding nicely from a 56-10 loss to Katy last week. I think they are the #2 team in this district.
Cy Falls 41, Cy Fair 38
This was the game of the night and maybe the entire season so far. Both teams traded blows back and forth. Cy fair scores on 4th down with 1:12 left only for Falls to march right down the field and score, again on 4th down, with 7 seconds left.
Tatum 33, Troup 21
Down goes #1 in 3AD2! Two things worth noting. Tatum is a bigger school than Troup and Troup’s star QB was missing due to injury but is expected back when they start district play in 2 weeks.
Pflugerville Weiss 42, Killeen Shoemaker 28
This game was closer than I expected it would be.
New Caney West Fork 34, Kingwood Park 16 & Rosenberg Terry 26, Richmond Tomas 21
Its district play. Park and Tomas I feel like will need an upset or two to make the playoffs now. West Fork vs Porter next Friday is probably for the last playoff spot in 9-5A D2. Terry and Lamar Consolidated play Week 9 in what is probably for the last spot in their district.

- Tascosa vs Frenship was postponed at halftime due to weather with Tascosa leading 13-7. The game will resume Saturday at 11 AM.
- Ingleside vs La Feria is Tonight.
