Caleb Davila rushed for 200 yards and five touchdowns as Rosehill Christian remained unbeaten with a commanding 35–0 victory over the Northside Lions on Friday night.

Davila needed only 10 carries to reach the 200-yard mark, averaging 20 yards per attempt. His scoring runs covered 11, 1, 17, 88 and 59 yards as Rosehill improved to 4–0 for the first time since they opened the 2018 season 8–0. 

Rosehill controlled the game on both sides of the ball, outgaining Northside 405–126 while recording its first shutout of the season. The Rosehill offense accumulated 282 yards rushing and 123 through the air, while its defense held the Lions to 107 rushing yards and just 19 passing yards.

Davila opened the scoring on an 11-yard run with 7:01 remaining in the first quarter. The extra-point attempt failed, leaving Rosehill with a 6–0 lead.

Northside kept the game close for most of the first half, but Davila struck again with 21 seconds remaining before halftime. He scored from a yard out. With a successful two-point conversion, Rosehill extended their lead to 14-0.

Davila began to break the game open during the third quarter. His 17-yard touchdown run with 7:05 remaining extended the lead to 21–0. Less than five minutes later, he broke loose for an 88-yard score that pushed the advantage to 28–0.

Davila completed his five-touchdown performance with a 59-yard run at the 2:40 mark of the fourth quarter.

Benjamin Moore added 71 yards on 10 carries, helping Rosehill amass 282 yards on the ground. Quarterback Hudson Hurst completed 9 of 15 passes for 123 yards, while Grady Henderson led the receiving corps with four catches for 50 yards.

David Phillips paced Northside with 41 yards on 11 carries. Quarterback Tennyson Vest completed 3 of 8 passes for 19 yards. David Kittleson recorded one reception for 11 yards, while Nick Brooker added one catch for 10 yards.

The victory continued Rosehill’s dominance in the series. The programs met annually from 2012 through 2018, with Rosehill winning all seven meetings. Friday’s result extended its series winning streak to eight games.

Rosehill will put its unbeaten record on the line next Friday against Spring Frassati Catholic in its final non-district game. Rosehill holds a 4–2 advantage in the series between the teams, which have met six times since 2018.

Northside fell to 1–2 and will travel to face The Woodlands Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy next Friday.
