COACH SPEAK
Robinson on Cy Lakes: “Cy Lakes has speed to burn all over the field. They have incredible team speed on both sides of the ball. They have graduated a lot but it seems like they have reloaded well. The defense plays unbelievably hard, and they get a lot of hats to the ball. Offensively they speed you out and know what they want to do with the ball. Coach Carter has done a great job of rallying the kids around his philosophy and it shows up on film. “

Carter on Freeman : “Freeman is a well-coached team with all the players coming back from an 8-2 record last year. These kids know how to win and expect to win. In order for us to come out on top we will have to take care of the football by not turning it over, establish a run game and find a way to create some explosives through the air. Defensively we have to stop the super sophomore RB that can make you miss and take it the distance. Special teams will also play a big role in the outcome of this game. Coach Robinson and his staff are doing a great job starting a program.”
