The first game I see scheduled is a six-man games between Covington and Waco Methodist Children’s Home in Oakwood at 5 p.m. on Thursday, 8/27.

The first 11-man game I see scheduled in Katy Freeman and Cypress Lakes at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, 8.27.

Note that TAPPS is starting their schedule one week earlier, but this countdown is to the start of the UIL season.
