Tony Blalock – Stephenville’s defense was simply dominant in this one. The lowest scoring championship game since 1991 when Groesbeck beat Burnet 7-0. Hard to single out any one defensive player on Stephenville. They all played lights out. Hudson Butchee gets the MVP plaque but it really should go to the entire defense.

Dave Burnworth – Stephenville used a strong defense led by beast like Caleb Taylor 9 tackles and Hudson Butchee 10 tackles to shutout Kilgore,10-0.

Antony Blalock – The Defense wins Championships plotline of State continues as Stephenville has that one big play in an otherwise Defensive masterpiece on both sides.
