I’m picking one player from each team to highlight. This may be a player to strikes me for some reason. This may not be the best player on each team. This may not be the biggest recruit from each team. This is just one player that catches my attention for whatever reason. For some I will have a lot of stats as the teams update their stats on Maxpreps. For others I will have not stats as they are hard to find for those teams. Regardless, I give you one player for each team.

4AD1 Stephenville

Keep an eye on #1 Zyler McClendon. McClendon has 1617 yard on 198 carries with 35 TDs, He has also added 15 catches for 213 yards with 1 TD.

4AD1 Kilgore

Keep an eye on #3 Dre Sanders. IN last week’s semfinal game against La Vernia, Sanders only touched the ball three times but two of those were for TDs. Had 3 receptions for 110 yards and those 2 TDs. You may not see Sanders often but when you do it’s in the end zone.

4AD2 Carthage

A lot of the focus will be on the offense, but keep on eye on #8 Qui Beck on defense for the Bulldogs. Beck has 78 tackles, 6 TFL, 2 sacks, 10 QB Hurries and 4 recovered fumbles on the season.

4AD2 West Orange Stark

Keep an eye on #4 Khelvy Jefferson. At 5’3″ 130 pounds Jefferson doesn’t grab your attention until he gets the ball in his hands. Then he’s a dynamic player that can carry his team if needed. Jefferson has carried the ball 276 times for 2365 yards with 34 TDs. He also has 16 catches for 134 yards.

5AD1 Frisco Lone Star

It won’t be hard to keep on #3 Trey Wright. The Lone Star SOPHOMORE QB will have the ball a lot in this game. He is 201 for 291 passing for 3927 yards with 37 TDS. He has also carried the ball 148 times for 1734 yards with 16 TDs.

5AD1 Smithson Valley

Keep on eye on #2 Ty Knutson. Last Week against Port Arthur Memorial Knutson was 15 of 25 passing for 192 yards for 2 TDs.
