          The Breakdown<\/b><\/h2>\n

          Bridgeland\u2019s run game against Cy Ranch\u2019s defense is the matchup to watch. Schwab has rushed for 634 yards and 10 touchdowns on 59 carries through three games\u2014an average of 10.7 yards per attempt. He accounts for the great majority of the Bears\u2019 722 rushing yards. Bridgeland has also thrown for 445 yards, so Cy Ranch cannot devote every defender to the run. Quarterback Taylon Villanueva has completed 37 of 54 passes for 435 yards, with Jackson Ewing leading the receivers at 17 catches for 185 yards.<\/span><\/p>\n

          Cy Ranch can answer on the ground and through the air. Khristian White leads the Mustangs with 227 rushing yards and four touchdowns, while quarterback Braden Baker has added 145 yards and two scores rushing. Baker has completed 32 of 48 passes for 420 yards, seven touchdowns and one interception. Derrick McCullar II gives him a downfield target: eight receptions have produced 181 yards and three touchdowns. The Mustangs\u2019 combination of White\u2019s carries, Baker\u2019s mobility and McCullar\u2019s big plays will test a Bridgeland defense that has allowed 1,121 yards in three games, including 788 through the air.<\/span><\/p>\n

          Both teams have kickers who could matter in a close fourth quarter. Cy Ranch\u2019s Nate Carrier has made three of four field-goal attempts, including a 40-yard winner against C.E. King. Bridgeland\u2019s Austin Anderson is 14-for-14 on extra points and made his lone field-goal attempt, from 36 yards. The Bears also have a defensive scoring threat in Braiden Graves, who has returned an interception 80 yards for a touchdown.<\/span><\/p>\n
