Katy has clinched both a playoff berth and the district title. Katy Taylor, Seven Lakes and Mayde Creek have been eliminated from playoff competition.

The Tie-Breakers

19-6A uses head-to-head as the preferred tie-breaker. If head-to-head is tied, then a positive/ negative point differential is used (capped at 21 points). If that is tied, then a coin flip is used. Each tie-breaker is used only to determine the next team in line meaning that if there is a 3-way tie for 2nd involving use of tiebreakers, then the tiebreakers are used to first determined 2nd place then everything is reset and 3rd place is determine and repeat the process until all four playoff teams are determined. This may seem a little confusing but I’ll walk you through it in each scenario.
