Cinco Ranch returned the opening kickoff of the game 70 yards for a touchdown and never looked back aa the Cougars cruised to a 65-7 victory Friday night at Legacy Stadium in Katy.
Six different Cougars found the endzone and kicker Santiago Taborda added two long field goals.
Cinco Ranch moves to 4-2 on the season and 3-1 in district play. The Cougars play Katy Jordan (3-2, 2-1) on Thursday.
Mayde Creek moves to 2-4 on the season and 0-4 in district play. The Rams play Seven Lakes (0-5, 0-3) on Friday.
