Player Profile: Qazi Jan, Cinco Ranch

How do you feel you played individually last season?

I feel like last season was a great season for me. I had some games where I was playing my best.

How is the off season going for you and what are the goals for this upcoming season?

Off season is going good. I’m getting bigger, stronger, and faster everyday while also learning a lot about football and becoming a student of the game.

What is the number one thing you are working on to improve your game?

I’m working on improving my fundamentals a little more. My Coach is really helping me with that and I’m looking forward to showing off my new skills.

Do you feel you got better and how do you feel the team will play this season?

I feel like I’ve gotten a lot better. As long as our team is united and hungry to win, nothing is gonna stop us. The key is hardwork and teamwork.

A teammate you see putting in the work that you think will have an impact this season.

Our whole team has been putting in great work but in particular, I’m looking forward to seeing how Sam McKnight and Eric Eckstrom do this season. They’ve been working hard and pushing the o line to work even harder.

Highlight of your athletic career so far

I try my hardest every game but my best game where I think I played a big role was against Morton Ranch last season.

If not playing in the NFL, where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I hope to be in top shape physically and mentally and I hope to be part of a winning team.
