How do you feel you played individually last season?

I felt it was one of my best years in football. I had my season goals and exceeded them with help of my team.

How is the off season going for you and what are the goals for this upcoming season?

My off season has been very big for me. I have gotten faster and stronger and have gotten several lifting PRs for myself. Some of my goals this year is to be the district MVP and rush for 2,000 yards, but my team goals are more valuable.

Do you feel you got better and how do you feel the team will play this season?

Yes, I feel much more developed physically and mentally about the game and I’m very confident in our team this year. Our off season as a team has exceeded all of our expectations.

What is the number one thing you are working on to improve your game?

For me as a running back I feel I need to add more finesse to my running game. I have shown coaches that I can run through someone and get the tough yards.

A teammate you see putting in the work that you think will have an impact this season.

Beau Elkins has pushed him self this off season to be one of the top guys on our defense. He is a senior linebacker and will have to be a leader for our younger guys and is doing so in the off season.

Drill you like the most and why

I like board drills the most because I love the competition between my teammates as well as learning how to block in a real game situation.

Highlight of your athletic career so far

Rushing over 1,400 yards as a junior and power cleaning 300lbs.

If not playing in the NFL, where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Coaching high school football or being a therapist.

Advice for incoming freshmen

Don’t quit on your self when adversity is facing you. The results after pushing your self are much greater for oneself and the team.

Favorite Song

Dear Rodeo – Cody Johnson

Favorite Movie

Top Gun: Maverick

If you were stranded on a desert island, what teammate would you want with you and why?

Braden Babineaux because I know he wouldn’t give up on me. He is one of the toughest guys I know and fights until the last minute. He can count on me and I can count on him.

What fictional television family is your real-life family most similar to?

Modern family

If you could interview a current professional athlete and ask them one question, who would you ask and what would you ask?

I would ask Ray Lewis, what made him so angry on the football field?

If you could completely get rid of one month out of the year, which month would it be and why?

July, because it would give me one more month shorter till football season.

When they make the movie of your life, what actor do you want to play you and why?

I would want Mathew McConaughey because he one of the best actors to ever live.
