18-1. Cy lakes was an upset. Speaking of which………………..

Cy Lakes 33, Langham Creek 23

I was at this game. you can see pictures here…….

Langham Creek scored a couple pick sixes to take a halftime lead but Cy Lakes dominated the second half to bring this district into chaos. Here are the Updated Standings.

Cy Ranch 5-0 LOCKED

Bridgeland 4-1

Cy Springs 3-2

Waller 3-2

Langham Creek 3-3

Cy Lakes 3-3

Cy Woods OUT

Cy Park OUT

The other games this week are Cy Ranch vs Bridgeland and Cy Springs vs Waller. A win for Bridgeland tonight clinches them a playoff spot although they are in good shape regardless. The latter game is on Saturday( Follow @txhsfb for updates) and if it’s Waller they will have clinched a playoff spot because they will have beaten every team they would be in a potential tie with. Springs and Lakes play Week 11 in what could be straight up for a playoff spot.

Today is Snapshot Day

Snapshot Day is the first step in UIL realignment – basically a redistricting of all the UIL high schools that they do every 2 years. So schools could go up a classification or go down a classification depending on what number they turn in. For a few alignments the 6A/5A cutoff number has gone up but because of several different factors that number is expected to go down. Aledo is the big number I’ll be keeping my eye on. I’ll tweet out any notable numbers I find on my twitter @AntmanFootball.

PSJA North 19, CC Flour Bluff 10

This was the biggest game of the night and the Raiders prevailed in a defensive battle.

North Mesquite 51, Dallas White 44

This was the game of the night. White was throwing into the endzone as time expired to try to send it to overtime. North Mesquite is very close to their first playoff berth since 2015.

FB Ridge Point 44, FB Hightower 6

The Panthers win the 2025 Tollway Cup and are a darkhorse in 6AD1 region 3.

Katy 42, Tompkins 22

The Tigers clinched at least a share of their 37th district title.
