Why does this game matter?
Dickinson is currently tied for 1st in the district with Deer Park (who they play next week). Clear Falls is currently 1 game behind and has already lost to Deer Park (by 6 Week 4).
For Dickinson to have a shot at the outright district title, they need to win this game. For Clear Falls to a have a shot at sharing the district title, they need to win this game.

Projections For This Game
Dave Campbell’s Computer (otherwise known as Jerry Forest of pigskinprep.com) favors Dickinson by 25.
Massey Ratings (masseyratings.com) favors Dickinson by 20.
What I Expect to See
Dickinson’s #1 RB Malichi Gamble missed the last game due to an unspecified injury. Tavin Gomez filled in well against Clear Springs. I don’t know the status of Gamble for this game. I included Gomez’s stats above because I think there is a good chance he either starts or play a significant portion of the game.
Even if Gamble is out, I expect the Gators to establish the run early in the game and then mix in Agguire throwing the ball to medium depth.
While, statistically, these teams look pretty close on offense, defense is the difference. The Gators are averaging giving up over a hundred yards less per game than Clear Falls. The Gators are averaging giving up 10 points less per game than Clear Falls.
And I think that will be the difference maker. Dickinson will get some stops early in the game and build a lead then coast to the win.
Both of these teams like to put points on the board. Dickinson has the #10 scoring offense in 6A. Clear Falls has the #24 scoring offense.
Fans of low scoring slugfest can look elsewhere Friday night. I expect the winning score to be in the 40s or 50s in this one.
