First off, I need to explain what this is and what this isn’t.

I have a history of attending Texas high school football games regardless of the rankings of the teams. I have been just as likely to be at a game between to sub .500 teams that have no chance of making the playoffs as I am to be at a game between two top 10 teams.

This lead to one prominent Texas high school football pundit labeling me a “true Texas High School Football sicko.”

I’ve embraced that label… and that concept.

I believe that all the teams and players are putting in a tremendous effort and deserve recognition and attention for doing so. Inevitably most attention will focus on the top ranked teams and teams competing for district titles, etc. If I can help shine some light on teams and players that aren’t near the top then I am glad to do so.

This is report is an attempt to do just that. It is not meant to bring embarrassment to any team or player.

Moving forward I am going to focus completely on player performance and not call out low-ranked teams with loosing records. I will still be focusing on players on those teams but I won’t be making a list of games, just looking at player performances.
