15-4. Elsik was a tossup, Strake and Ike were upsets and idk what i was thinking when i took Buna.
Klein Collins 45, Magnolia 42
I was at this game. You can see Pictures Here…..
This was an amazing game where Magnolia Proved that they Belonged. They were up 3 scored before Collins scored 21 straight, Including a TD with 29 seconds left to score the win. Magnolia tried a 51 yard FG as time expired to send it to OT but it was Wide Left. This also tells me who your 4 playoff teams are barring any additional upsets – Collins, Magnolia, Klein and Tomball, but idk as to what order just yet. Klein and Magnolia play week 11.
Strake Jesuit 38, Fulshear 35
RB Johnny Hebert lead the Crusaders to an Upset win, and what this does is make it to where its not certain Fulshear will host a 1st round playoff game. The higher district placed team hosts, and if Cinco wins out and Paetow misses the playoffs(which would push Katy D2 and Cinco to the top 19-6a d1 seed) both would finish second and would either flip for hosting duties or find a Neutral Site.
Saginaw 41, FW Paschal 38(OT)
So Saginaw was down 27-0 at the half. Yes. And they came back to score the victory aided by THREE pick sixes. Crazy.
Katy 38, Katy Jordan 17
The Tigers were down 17-7 then proceeded to score the games last 31 points including a pick 6.
Frisco Wakeland 35, Frisco 28
After a back and forth affair, this sets up Lone Star vs Wakeland for the district title next week. Last year that game went to OT and Lone Star was about to win when Wakeland got a Ranger fumble and returned it all the way back for the win.
Grand Oaks 34, Oak Ridge 14
The Grizzlies Barring any major upsets will make the playoffs for the first time in their 6 year History as a UIL program.
