2AD1 Team Banned from Postseason Play

A report from our Friend Matt Stepp of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football(@Matt_Stepp817) – credit for the info all goes to him – told us that The Rio Vista Eagles have been banned From Postseason play by their District Executive committee for Recruiting violations although the DEC saw no violations from the coaches themselves. is it expected that Rio Vista will appeal to the UIL – and imo i think that will win that appeal.

FB Travis 27, Katy Jordan 16

This was the shocker of the night. is Jordan Down? Is Mayde Creek in playoff Contention after only losing by 1 to the Tigers last week? only time will tell.

Denton Ryan 20, Mansfield Timberview 12

Too close for Comfort for the Raiders. I would be concerned but they always seems to struggle in non district play so we will see.

FB Ridge Point 34, Fulshear 10

This game was 13-10 late in the 3rd but the Panthers found a way to pull away.

Cy Lakes 36, Spring 0

This is the score margin itself that i found very shocking. Spring is in major trouble. they havent scored a point in 2 games.

SA Brennan 30 , Smithson Valley 21

i know its a 6a over a 5a but the Bears defeating that defending 5AD1 champs is a surprise to me. I think this says more about Brennan tbh.

Barbers Hill 40, Manvel 35

Again i think this says a lot more about Barbers Hill – they will be very competitive in a stacked 9-5a Division 1.
