19-9. Not bad for Week 1! Yates and CE King were Upsets, Northside Tompkins Mag West Macarthur and Porter were tossups and i was dumb on Huntington and Terry.
Katy Tompkins 32, Cy Ranch 27

This game was a tale of 2 Halves, Cy Ranch was the better team in the First half them Tompkins outscored them 19-6 in the Second. also the 2 teams missed a combined 4 Extra Points.
North Crowley 22, Lancaster 18
Too close for Comfort for our Defending 6AD1 champs, but because this game had a 2 hour Weather Delay i dont know if i should take anything from this game.
Garrison 39, Waskom 19
I saw that this was one of the games of the Week and i was like “Really?” is Garrison that good? Apparently the answer is Yes.
CE King 32, Spring Westfield 14
If you maybe thought that 21-6A would take a year off from being the GHA District of Doom, this probably squashes that Theory.
Gunter 49, Houston Kinkaid 44
because Gunter was Traveling from DFW t GHA i dont take anything out of this game Either.
Houston Yates 35 Brookshire Royal 7
Looks like Yates is Primed to be the new 4AD1 HISD team of note.
Weather Raises Havoc in DFW
The Weather gods are Angry Early, many games had a weather delay but 1 was postponed and at least 1 was Cancelled outright.
