Hawley Dominates for 1st State Crown

In front of an announced crowd of 7,972 Thursday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, the Hawley Bearcats defeated the Refugio Bobcats 54-21 to win the 2AD1 UIL State Football Championship, the first for the Bearcats.

Austin Cumpton was named the game’s Offensive MVP.

Hez Parker was named the game’s Defensive MVP.
