Westbrook Tops Abbott for 2nd Consecutive Title

In front of an announced crowd of 4,232 Wednesday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, the Westbrook Wildcats defeated the Abbott Panthers 69-24 to win their second consecutive UIL crown.

For the 2^nd consecutive year, Cedric Ware (14 carries, 148 yards, 4 Tds; 1 reception, 34 yards, 1 TD; 10 tackles, 6 solo tackles, 1 TFL) was named both the game’s Offensive and Defensive MVP.
